Eli Sherlock is a freelance designer currently based in Minneapolis working in theater, live entertainment, and experience design. He has designed across the country with companies such as The 5th Avenue Theater, Geva Theatre, Kansas City Repertory Theater, Antaeus Theater Company, and Flint Repertory Theater. In the Twin Cities, he has worked with Theater Latté Da, The Jungle Theater, Mixed Blood Theater, Artistry, History Theater, Park Square Theater, 7th House Theater, Yellow Tree Theater, and Walking Shadow Theater Company, among others. He has worked as an associate/assistant at the Public Theater, Center Theater Group, Guthrie Theater, Asolo Repertory Theater. The Old Globe, The New Group, Artists Repertory Theater, and The Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

Eli has taught at UCLA, and was the resident guest scenic designer at the University of Michigan in their 2024-25 season. He was recognized for "Outstanding Scenic Design" at the Minnesota Theater Awards for his design of Assassins with Theater Latté Da. His design at the University of Michigan for Almost, Maine was awarded the KCACTF Region III Scenic Design Award, and won Second Place for Excellence in Scenic Design at the National Festival. He has worked as an intern in the studio of Broadway scenic designer Derek McLane, at The Children's Theatre Company, Seven Devils Playwriting Conference, and Cirque du Soleil's KÁ in Las Vegas. Eli holds an MFA in scenic and production design from UCLA, and a BFA in Theater Design and Production from The University of Michigan.
